Thanksgiving Thoughts….
Thanksgiving Eve, November 25, 2009
This morning I am again amazed at the glory of God reflected in His creation. Today’s sunrise painted brilliant colors and although winter’s hibernation loomed, the crisp air was full of life. All preparation is in anticipation of Spring and presentment of plenty. His promises are present for our tomorrows. In such I give thanks. It seems illogical to experience such peace and joy while also feeling such deep ache, fear and anger. Such conflict often leaves me voiceless….read more here...

Nice literary device on the “voiceless” link to nothing. Of course, it would be more believable if I had ever known you to be without words.
Loyalty and alliances is what it is all about when the gallows loom ahead. I know that firsthand. I hope your prove more robust than mine have, old chap.

U foolish man, U still went and paid “the Left” to see AVATAR only to find some way warp a great piece of fantasy, much like your bible, another piece of great fantasy warped for monetary and religious gain everyday by people like you. I hope you see the SIN in ypur one-sided views one day.

There is ONE God. He only has ONE word. And there is only ONE way to get to him. His name is Jesus Christ.
ONE day, that ONE truth WILL be revealed. If God doesn’t open a man’s eyes’ then that man will remain blind. How will he who cannot see have wisdom to discern?
The wisdom of God is foolishness to the world. The only wisdom comes from God.
I do NOT wish to offend ANYONE. The ONE AND ONLY TRUTH WILL be revealed to ALL, and THAT’S a promise from the Jesus Christ, and unlike man, GOD CANNOT LIE.

If God does exist, and we and the universe are in fact his creation, can you truly deny that He may be just a little upset at what we (humans) have done to His great creation? (Earth) I don’t understand how Christians can deny this, other than the fact that there is nothing in the bible condemning the practice of destroying habitat and continuously polluting our atmosphere and oceans. It’s just another countless example of how many words of the bible are dated and not applicable to modern society. I am no pot smoking hippie nor am I am member of the left. Just someone who is not blind nor lead by blind faith. Good luck to you and all of those just like you who refuse to see what is right in front of your face. And you say we’re the lost ones…..

Having just read your review of the movie Avatar, I must say I’m appalled to see your “blessing” of the glory of the sunrise. How dare you. You side with the military mercenaries in the movie, the corporate high-tech hired guns, because you take the extremely egocentric position–too often associated with modern christianity–which is hardly Christian–that God gave us this planet to use, abuse, suck dry, pollute and destroy just because we can, that any other culture is our “lesser” and therefore unentitled, that honoring or respecting nature and the natural world is primitive and stupid because you are just so smart, and the apocapolyse will come and the rapture will clean up the mess. Darwinist thought in no way dictates that “superior” cultures have any right or need to deliberately destroy “lesser” ones or take their stuff or make them be like us. That’s the pope, not the bible.
